Ricardo Guimaraes

Founder / Head Instructor

He first began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training with Nelson Monteiro in 1993. As a blue belt, Ricardo found the opportunity to train in San Diego with Professor Marcelo Pereira. In 2003, after 10 years of hard work and dedication, Ricardo humbly received his Black Belt from Professor Marcelo.

After leaving the Marine Corps Robert Monge first started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2002 under Master Pedro Sauer. Receiving his blue belt in 2004. He then relocated to Okinawa Japan and trained under Professor Marcelo Alonso Affiliation instructor Michael Guzman until 2007. Finally, staking his flag in Temecula California and training under Professor Ricardo Guimaraes in 2009. He continued his training with Professor Ricardo receiving his Black Belt rank in December of 2014.
